About Me

They say, 'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step', but I feel with me just creating this website I have already taken multiple steps but in a direction I still HOPE takes me to my desired destination. "The stars are aligning", "This feels way too good to be true". These are some of the quotes I kept on saying to myslef after my first interaction with Data Related tasks. I graduated from Heriot Watt University with an Honours degree in Mathematics, and unfortunately I left University without a clear career plan or knowledge of what to do with a Mathematics degree. But then what I knew I got from Mathematics was the ability to solve problems, think creatively and learn quickly so I then encouraged myself to to pursue a variety of online courses from Photoshopping skills, to Product Development and many more but what eventually got my attention and desire was Data Analysis. For the first time, I felt I had found my true purpose.

Fortunately I had the opportunity to apply my newly found skills at Botswana Telecommunications Corporation. This experienece gave me the opportunity to work with real-world data, understanding the limitations both the organisation and Human Resource can have when dealing with Data. I then decided to go Upksill myself in a more formal environment, that's was when I enrolled for Masters in Data Science at University of Essex, and this is where I am currently at. The experience has been too good, learning is exciting and there is always a new challenge everyday.

I am excited to share my learning process here, as well as potentially collaborate fore short term or long-term projects in here.
